Last Wednesday I finally had the opportunity to begin the photography project on tower workers. I've tentatively titled it, "Tower Work - Life on The Very Edge".

I was about 200 feet above the earth, strapped to a cell tower in Lake Zurich, IL with a company called Tower Technologies, LLC. The safety equipment required to do this project was very expensive to say the least - a small price to pay for access to the work and workers that keep my cell photo connected. Besides, what's my life worth? Here's the rough run-down:
Any day with a camera in hand is a good day.
- DBI-Sala, XO-Fit Tower Harness - $595
- Petzel climbing helmet - $100
- DBI-Sala, 3' anchor - $38
- DBI-Sala, 18" Lanyard extension - $38
- DBI-Sala, EZ Stop II double lanyard - $272
- Petzel Acenders - 2 @ $62
- Petzl locking carabiner - 10 @ $13.95
- A bunch of other stuff I can't remember - $$$
